The Minor in Life Sciences gives students from any faculty (sciences or humanities), who carefully choose their optional courses, the prerequisites to apply to schools of medicine, dentistry or pharmacy. Students are strongly urged to carefully check the admission requirements of schools they are considering. This minor cannot be combined with other life sciences programs (biochemistry, biology, biomedical science) as they already cover the Minor in Life Sciences curriculum and more fully prepare students thinking of entering life science-based professions.
This program is offered in English and in French.
The table below includes only discipline-specific courses. Please refer to the Academic Regulations for information on including a minor to your degree.
This minor cannot be combined with the following disciplines: biochemistry (BCH), biomedical science (BIM), biology (BIO).
